Statistics tell us that every day, more than 31 Australians are expected to be diagnosed with a blood cancer. Once diagnosed, regional families must often relocate for access to immediate treatment. This often means leaving their home and support network behind.

With such high numbers suffering from this disease in our national community, it would be very unusual for someone to have never had a personal connection to, or know of someone, that is suffering or has suffered from this disease. All of us are affected in some way and as a community, it is incumbent upon us that we should rise to the challenges that the disease brings.
The funds raised through supporters in the community will ensure life-saving research continues; seeking better treatments and hopefully cures for all blood cancers. The Foundation also provides patients going through treatment, access to a range of services (free-of-charge) including accommodation, counselling, transport and financial assistance.
