Have you ever wanted to collect vibration data over the internet….. Well now you can!
GVS Reliability Products new Vibe Port System provides remote access across company networks or the mobile phone network. Transmitters are installed at the machine level and can communicate across the network with the Vibe Port Receiver via your PC. Simply plug in your vibration analyser to the Receiver and collect data. Any brand of analyser can be used, maintaining that analysis is performed in your existing vibration software platform.
The Vibe Port Vibration & Temperature system is designed to allow data to be captured from almost anywhere. It supports the following communication technologies:
Wireless – Local access via a 2.4Ghz wireless radio link.
Ethernet – Remote access via your LAN or WAN.
Cell Net – Remote access using the mobile phone network.
Each Transmitter accepts 8 vibration & temperature inputs and is powered by mains or battery power. The Wireless system is locked to 8 transmitters or 64 channels maximum. The Ethernet Transmitters have their own fixed IP Address, so any number can be deployed. The Wireless Portable Receiver will pair with the Wireless Transmitter from up to 100 metres away, line of sight.
The Portable Receivers are installed into a Pelican case which makes them robust and transportable. A rotary switch is used to select each Transmitter and once selected, you toggle through each of the 8 channels to collect your data.
The Ethernet & Cell Net systems include a software application called Vibration Hub. This App manages the communications between Transmitters and the collection of data either ‘On Demand’ or Time Based’. The Ethernet System uses a smaller desktop Receiver for collecting data.
The Vibe Port is great for accessing hard to get to machines, either guarded or at height. You can now capture data on machines that are on a moving platform and even machines at remote site locations.
