Sales and Support Manager - South Australia, Victoria & Tasmania
Dare brings more than three decades of experience in asset management, maintenance, risk and reliability across a wide range of heavy industries. His background includes consulting and reliability-focused technical sales, supporting organisations to safely improve both asset and operational performance.
He has worked across diverse sectors including power generation (geothermal and coal-fired), petrochemical and oil refining, mining (underground and open-cut), pulp and paper, food and beverage, agro-industrial operations, government and defence infrastructure, manufacturing, as well as education, training and development. This breadth of industry experience enables Dare to bring a practical, cross-sector perspective to improving operational safety, plant reliability and equipment performance.
Known for his practical and structured approach, Dare focuses on helping organisations close the gap between their current state and optimal asset performance. By combining detailed analysis with practical field implementation strategies, he works with clients to prioritise improvements that deliver measurable reliability gains and strong return on investment.
Dare is particularly passionate about sharing knowledge and building capability within asset management, maintenance and reliability teams, helping them develop the skills needed to improve plant performance and long-term, sustainable asset reliability.
National Technical Manager | National Product Manager for RDI Technology and Waites
As the National Technical Manager at GVS Reliability Products, Grant plays a crucial role in providing technical support across regions and managing the Waites Wireless Sensor Technology and RDI Technology product ranges, including training initiatives.
Qualifications:
Grant has been an integral part of the GVS team since February 2022, accumulating over 21 years of experience across diverse industries such as mining, oil and gas, petro-chemical, food and beverage, power generation, rail and transport, and manufacturing. Trained in Non-Destructive Testing and Condition Monitoring, he brings expertise in initiating programs, leading teams, and developing maintenance strategies for these technologies.
Beyond his professional commitments, Grant enjoys spending time with his family, camping, bushwalking, exploring Australasia through travel, and embracing the outdoors.
Technical Support Specialist
Graeme White brings over 14 years of experience across engineering consultancy and mining operations, specialising in the development and delivery of condition monitoring programs. His background spans building, implementing and optimising monitoring strategies, with a more recent focus on mentoring and training teams to strengthen capability and performance.
Graeme has worked across a wide range of industries including offshore oil & gas, mining, mineral refineries, power generation and overhaul acceptance testing. His hands-on experience in complex and high-demand environments gives him a practical, solutions-focused approach to technical challenges.
Graeme has combined his passion for gaming with his technical expertise to develop an innovative vibration training simulator enhancing the way condition monitoring skills are taught and applied.
Graeme holds VCAT II and LCAT I certifications, along with a degree in Music Production – highlighting both his technical expertise and creative approach to problem-solving.
Graeme specialises in vibration troubleshooting, as well as database, hardware and software setup. Driven by a mindset of continuous improvement, Graeme aims to leave systems better than he found them and while exploring opportunities to increase efficiency through software automation.
Sales & Support Manager – Victoria and Tasmania
Harry brings a unique and diverse professional background to his role as Sales & Support Manager for Victoria and Tasmania. Prior to joining GVS, Harry worked as a commercial lawyer specialising in litigation, where he developed strong analytical thinking and a results-driven approach to problem-solving.
Harry gained valuable international experience travelling across Europe, North America and Central America, before spending two years in Canada building hands-on expertise in the tourism and logistics sectors.
Harry offers a well-rounded perspective and a strong ability to adapt to different environments and client needs. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), along with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Harry takes pride in understanding each customer’s unique challenges and working collaboratively with technical experts to deliver tailored solutions that achieve real outcomes. He is particularly driven by the dynamic nature of his role. Valuing the opportunity to solve problems and support clients in improving their operations.
Calibration and Service Manager
Ilesh Thummar is the Calibration and Service Manager at GVS, bringing a strong blend of mechanical engineering expertise and advanced technical capability to the role. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from KSV University, Gujarat, and a Master of Networking & Cybersecurity from the Melbourne Institute of Technology (NSW).
With a background as a Mechanical Service Engineer, Ilesh specialises in the calibration, servicing and repair of analytical instrumentation. He is highly experienced in fault diagnosis across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including precision electrical repairs and soldering. His expertise extends to ISO 17025 traceable calibration, temperature mapping, and validation of controlled environments, covering pressure, temperature, flow, torque, and mass.
Having worked across biomedical, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors, Ilesh is committed to delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality technical service solutions that support reliable operations and performance.
Outside of work, Ilesh enjoys playing volleyball and cricket, maintaining an active fitness routine, and spending time with friends and family.

As the Sales and Support Manager for South Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific at GVS, Stephen plays a pivotal role in providing expert consultancy to his regions and is Product Manager for SDT Ultrasound Solutions.

Joining GVS in March 2021 and with over 40 years of experience in the Industrial Maintenance sector, Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge. His diverse industry exposure spans mining, timber, food & beverage, maritime, steel, power generation, pulp & paper, automotive, building service, and general manufacturing.
