Last year GVS Reliability Products put out the ‘King of Vibes’ challenge to reflect how vibration analysis is a dominant force in predictive maintenance.
The Winners prize is a $100 gift voucher and the prestigious title of the ‘King of Vibes’.
Due to the success of the competition we are running it again for the 1st quarter of 2016.
Below are 3 examples of entries that we have received so far.
It is important to note that the below entries all successfully identified problem bearings and were able to change out in a planned shutdown thus saving the company time and money and possible catastrophic failure.
This once again proves the power of condition monitoring and more specifically vibration monitoring.
To be considered, entrants are requested to submit the following information;
- Picture of a failed bearing
- Snapshot of VA data
- Description of the analysis process to prove how the fault was found.
If you have an interesting example of a failed bearing please send a photo, short description and VA data snapshot to sales@gvsensors.com.au. Entries close 30/3/2016. The winner will be announced in the newsletter following the close date.
Good luck!
