GVS Reliability Products in partnership with SDT Ultrasound is pleased to announce that TOM MURPHY is soon to arrive back in Australia. This time Tom will focus his efforts in WA conducting a Level 1 training course for the use of Ultrasound as and effective condition monitoring tool.
The course is to be conducted in Perth during September 27-29, 2016. Industry professionals that attended the Ultrasound Inspectors Level 1 training in Melbourne were excited by the opportunity to have a world class teacher/trainer for the course. One of our students from the training course in May said “Tom’s expertise, experience and training style helped me easily understand the fundamentals and principals of Ultrasound. As a trainer, Tom’s hands on experience and attention to detail are a valuable asset to the training course. Thanks GVS, SDT and Tom Murphy!”
Tom’s visit to WA is important for the region to continue to grow the awareness and effectiveness of condition monitoring using Ultrasound.
There is no denying the fact that Ultrasound is an important technique in Condition Monitoring of Industrial Assets. Traditionally, recognition on ROI for Ultrasound has been the detecting of compressed air or vacuum leaks. But, what many people do not know is that increased ROI can be realized with many more applications. Bearing lubrication issues, bearing fatigue, electrical panel problems, overhead power line faults, tightness issues, pump cavitation, steam trap malfunctions and much more, can all be detected with the successful application of Ultrasound and appropriate condition monitoring programs
Example: Did you know that sophisticated, quality Ultrasound hardware (such as the SDT range) can detect bearing faults earlier than other technology? With the correct Ultrasound hardware and training, SDT products can help in reducing steam losses due to non-performing steam traps, detect compressed air leakages to reduce load on compressors (and improve efficiency/lower costs of the system), detect electrical PD/Corona detection in air insulated switchgear, transformers and medium voltage switchgear. And much, much more.
With the successful completion of the Level 1 Ultrasound training course, you can start your Ultrasound journey and introduce real value and savings on multiple assets across your company.
Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to learn more about this exciting opportunity.
